Our second large format studio in Sydney, Studio Two encompasses a 70 square metre recording space with three isolated areas and an adjoining control room housing an SSL 9000K series console.

In the recording room, the main space is circled by three isolation booths. Overall the sound is more intimate than Studio One and perfect for indie, rock, pop and folk bands which can record together live but still maintain good separation between instruments by utilising the booths. The larger booth is great for recording vocals, drums, percussion, amps and acoustic instruments, and has the option for either a “bright & lively” or “close and dry” sound due to the adjustable acoustic treatment. The two smaller booths are well suited to amp isolation or very dry vocals.

SSL has shaped the sound of almost every notable record in the last 30 years and our SSL 9000k continues that tradition with its upfront, responsive and punchy sound. Additional Neve preamps and Australia’s only Fairchild stereo tube compressor sit alongside a desirable outboard collection in the control room, which patches through to the machine room to access our various recording formats. Monitoring is quickly configurable from stereo to 5.1.
