Tom Garnett is quickly establishing himself as one of Studios 301’s standout recording and mix engineers. Recently adding an ARIA credit to his name by mixing Justine Clarke’s 2018 Award winning Best Children’s Album “The Justine Clarke Show!”, Tom continues to carve a name for himself in the industry as one of Australia’s most versatile and hard-working engineers.
Tom’s growing list of credits include many international and local top-selling artists such as Kelly Rowland, Travis Scott, Rae Sremmurd, A$AP Rocky, Kid Ink, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, YG, Ty Dolla $ign and A$AP Twelvyy, in addition to a host of household Australian artists such as Delta Goodrem, Peking Duk, The Kid Laroi, Bliss n Eso, Wolfmother, George Maple, Nicole Millar, Art vs. Science, Dustin Tebbutt, Mosquito Coast and many more.
Most recently, Tom has engineered and mixed records for the likes of local artists The Goods, Froyo, DOBBY, Bad Pony, Bin Juice, Jackie Brown Jr., Mazy, Gaspar Sans, Yung Dready Mane, Omijah, Quester and Mesmeriser.
Tom’s music career began playing bass guitar for a variety of independent bands and artists, eventually landing him a publishing deal with renowned Australian publisher/label Alberts. Gaining experience in the in-house Alberts studios saw Tom’s passion for audio develop and flourish which kickstarted his career in Sydney at Rec Studios as an engineer and eventually lead him joining the Studios 301 team in 2018.
