Studios 301 is known as the longest running and most iconic studios not only in Australia but in the Southern Hemisphere. Over the last 90 years, A-list artists seek out and continue to revisit our studios for our world-class service matched with one of a kind facilities. Recently undertaking a multi-million dollar renovation, Australia’s ONLY independent large format studio facility is now equipped better than ever to be able to provide the ultimate service and studio experience to visiting artists and producers.
We offer a variety of VIP services to help artists be as creative and productive as possible.
Recording Spaces
We understand the needs of creatives. Subsequently, the studios can accommodate after-hours sessions or 24-hour lockout sessions on request.
Not your average session? Our rooms and sessions can be configured to suit your creative needs. Any further special requests of instruments or backline can be accommodated easily via notice.
Studio 1
Neve 88R 72 channel
The classic big studio experience, Studio 1 has the capability to house everything from symphonic orchestras to large events, film shoots, and live performances.
Studio 2
SSL 9000 K
Housing an SSL 9000 K series console with a 35m2 live space, Studio 2’s intimate and versatile setup is perfect for indie, rock, pop and folk bands to record vocals, killer drums, percussion, amps, and more.
Studio 3
Custom Series 75 Neve 24/24
A state-of-the-art recording and mixing studio featuring: a 45m2 control room accompanied by a spacious 24m2 live space, Custom Series 75 console , 65’ video monitor and PMC monitors.
Studio 4
Production Room
The isolation booth captures recordings of untainted vocals, solo instruments, percussion and amps with immediate line of sight to the engineer.
Comfort & Privacy
Accompanying the studio of your choosing are an array of breakout spaces, including additional production suites, entertainment areas, and lobby with cafe area. The facility is located in a private business park with a secure courtyard and entry gate. Our staff are professional, discreet and have decades of experience working with A-list clients from around the world.
The VIP Treatment
For artists seeking the VIP treatment, we have an array of options on request including catering, bottle service, additional assistants, hosts, security, valet and more. Need something special? Our studio manager and the team will be happy to help with any out of the box requests.
