Congratulations to Coldplay who have been nominated in two categories this year, including best Best Pop Vocal Album (for ‘Kaleidoscope’ EP), and Best Pop/Duo Group Performance (for “Something Just Like This” with The Chainsmokers). A further congratulations to Kesha. Capping off her redemption narrative in glorious style, the pop star’s single “Praying” is up for Best Pop Solo Performance, and ‘Rainbow’ is up for Best Pop Vocal Album. The single “Praying” was partially recorded at Studios 301 last October with Ryan Lewis and Ben Abraham laying down the guide vocal, some piano, and the hair-raising gospel harmonies in Studio One. 301 engineer Antonia Gauci was on engineering duties for this session.
