The developing artist’s mastering engineer

Fri. 15 May 2026

Some records ask for restraint. A careful set of ears, a deliberate hand, and the patience to honour what the mix already says. That is how Harvey O’Sullivan works.

If you are mastering your debut, your second EP, or the record you have been quietly building for years, Harvey is the engineer who gives every record the attention it deserves. He has spent more than a decade at Studios 301 doing exactly that, one record at a time.

“Harvey is an extremely meticulous and sharp engineer, considering artistic integrity whilst complimenting mixes.”

Dan Frizza, Producer / Engineer

What Harvey works on

Harvey has been part of the Studios 301 team since 2013, with more than fifteen years in audio engineering behind him. Alongside the records he masters week in, week out, he has worked on live recordings from Vivid Sydney, the Sydney Festival, and the Sydney Biennale.

Inside the studio he masters Australian indie, electronic, and singer songwriter records, with a particular ear for emerging and independent artists.
