Email Signatures

Gmail (if you’re using the web browser for email)

  1. Visit the Email Signature Page to copy the template (use Chrome and copy the top template – not the code) 
  2. Open Gmail.
  3. In the top right, click the Settings Cog > Settings and show all settings
  4. In the “Signature” section, paste your signature text in the box.
  5. At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.

iPhone/iPad

  1. Visit the Email Signature Page to copy the template (copy the top template)
  2. Open “Settings” app
  3. Select “Mail”
  4. Select “Signature”
  5. If you have multiple accounts, make sure you selected “Per Account”
  6. Paste into the Studios 301 account text box
  7. Quit Settings app

Apple Mail on Mac

  1. Visit the Email Signature Page to copy the template using Safari 
  2. To create a signature in Mail, select Preferences from the Mail menu
  3. In the Mail Preferences window, click the Signatures icon
  4. Select the Studios 301 email account for which you want to create a signature
  5. Click the plus (+) icon near the bottom of the Signatures window
  6. Enter a description for the signature, such as “Studios 301”. This name does not appear in the signature in your messages; it is only for your reference
  7. Mail will create a default signature for you, based on the email account you selected. Replace all of the default signature text by copy/pasting the information from the email signature template
  8. Ensure the check box next to “Place signature above quoted text” is checked.  If you don’t select this option, your signature will be placed at the very bottom of the email, after your message and any quoted text, where the recipient may never see it

Outlook for PC

Create the signature

  1. Open a new message. On the Message tab, in the Include group, click Signature, and then click Signatures
  2. On the E-mail Signature tab, click New
  3. Type a name for the signature, and then click OK
  4. In the Edit signature box, copy and paste the information from the Email Signature Template
  5. To finish creating the signature, click OK

Add the signature to messages

  1. On the Message tab, in the Include group, click Signature, and then click Signatures
  2. Under Choose default signature, in the E-mail account list, click the Studios 301 email account with which you want to associate the signature
  3. In the New messages list, select the new email signature that you want to include
  4. In the Replies/forwards list, select the email signature so that it is included when you reply to or forward messages
