Tahlia-Rose is the newest engineer to join Studios 301’s mastering roster under the mentorship of head engineer Steve Smart. Her training with Steve has given her invaluable knowledge of analogue mastering processes and insight into mastering a chart topping track. Working in both analogue and digital domains, she has recently worked with Jai Waetford, Electric Fields, Lipgloss, Warwick Kennedy and The Strangers and more.
Joining the Studios 301 team in 2018, Tahlia started out as an intern and quickly moved on to become a highly sought-after assistant working alongside engineers at 301 and across multiple studios in Sydney.
As well as mastering, she also spends time recording and mixing tracks, and is occasionally featured playing drums or percussion. She also has a keen interest in analogue gear and has ongoing projects restoring tape machines.
Tahlia has also worked with CSÖKE, We Lost The Sea, SHIRA, The Buoys, The Astrals, Mirrah, Good Pash, Vixen Music, Silent Tantrum, Spiral Ensemble and more.
